It’s kind of a big deal.
Which is to say, it’s been our favorite convention for quite a while now. It’s not big, but it’s for game designers and is focused on education, playtesting, and meeting people in the hobby games industry. I’ve met wonderful folks, been a part of a mentorship program that has helped grow some incredible designers, had wondrous conversations that went deep into the evenings, and I’m so excited to go back.
This year, we’re showing the latest movement on Gorgon’s Garden and OmegaZone 2E, as well as doing panels on a game philosophy we’re referring to as “look up/look down,” and one on how to think about statistics without doing math about it.
We’re looking forward to both connecting and reconnecting with peers in the space, holding space for other monsters and their ideas, and trying out some neat stuff.
